Application of insulation materials and insulating efficiency of the prefabricated elements for wooden houses

Different materials can be used in the construction of prefabricated dwelling houses. Choice of the materials and its quality depend on which purpose the house is built for, on the climatic conditions and on the method of the construction. The applied materials must have a certain minimum of characteristics concerning thermal and sound isolation, and diffusion of water vapor. These characteristics in the prefabricated wooden houses are further discussed. Given is also the calculation of temperatures prevailing within the various layer in the walls for three climatic zones.
