Practical instructions for control of the predrying process

In order to obtain more precise data about the course of the predrying process for different thicknesses and species of wood and assortments, two ways of controlling the predrying course are proposed: a) tabular, b) graphic. In the tabular part besides usual data new columns are suggested, e. g. the predrying parameters which illustratively show the technological characteristics of the past predrying process. At the same time these are comparative parameters as well, by means of which it is easy to determine better quality system of drying in the technological and economic sense. The graphic part is performed simultaneously with the insertion of data into tabular part, or after the predrying process has been completed. The advantage of such control method is: greater interest of driers for their job, wider choice of data for the predrying process analysis and clearness of the predrying results expressed graphically.
