Purposive processing of small oak logs

Experimental sawing of small oak logs in diameter 16 do 24 cm beside purposive manufacture of dimension stock as essential product and flooring strips as by-product gives positive business results processing condition. This work is a continuation of previously performed investigations (4) where small oak logs were purposively converted only into flooring strips. This investigation showed then a certain loss. Experimental sawing data were compared with data from literature and on the basis of both data conclusions were made. They should be observed from the point of view of processing conditions in which experimental sawings were performed and could not apply generally without analysing conditions for the other sawmills.
