Title:
Influential parameters on laminated particleboards quality in shorttact treatment
Research subject and fields:
Abstract:
Examination has been made in order to determine influence effect of some technological parameters and their interaction in laminated surfaces quality. Special care has been taken of complete cycle: experiments planning, conducting and statistical treatment of the results obtained. Experiment factors plan 24 has been applied, i. e. 4 influential factors on two acting levels. As influential factors - temperature (A), pressing time (B), specific pressure (C) and paper kind (D) have been chosen. The experimental examination part has been performed in Institute for Wood Research in Munich. In order to estimate laminated surface quality two criteria have been applied: resin hardening degree and resistance to wearing, supposing they approximately equally measure laminated surfaces quality. The obtained results, however, do not prove this supposition. Two applied criteria showed a relatively small correlation degree (r = 0,336) which means that they do not measure equally the same changes in laminating process. Based upon the results treated after F. Yates method it is evident that a very significant influence on laminated surface quality is shown by temperature, pressing time (P = 0,01), and paper kinds (P = 0,05). Specific pressure influence has not been shown as significant, so it may be concluded that it is not very important which level it has been acting on.
