Abstract:
This article deals with the results of the investigation of voluminal and qualitative utilization of oak veneer logs in the production of cut veneer.
The purpose of the examination was to determine the conversion of veneer logs into veneer and sawn goods and their share in the total mass of the goods manufactured.
Examinations of voluminal and qualitative utilization showed the absolute and relative relations of species, quality, and dimensions of veneer dependent on the provenance and the medium diameter of the logs.
The veneers obtained have been sorted in compliance with the JUS. D. C5.020.
