Abstract:
The work deals with the possibilities and structure of programs for the electronic computer called RARAVO and RAVIDI. RARAVO is a program by means of which is effected simulation of sawing logs of arbitrary dimensions on the frame saw, and each with arbitrary many arrangements. Simulation of sawing is carried out taking into account technological conditions, such as thickeness of a saw kerf on the frame saw, edger and trimmer, shrinkage, inaccuracy of sawing and standard timber dimensions. Edging and trimming off is carried out on the principle of maximum volume utilization. All arrangements by which the log has been »sawn« are ranked up according to adequate volume utilization. RAVIDI is a program for simulation of log sawing on the frame saw on the same principles as RARAVO. RAVIDI computes utilization of logs for each of arrangements by which the log is »sawn«. All arrangements have been ranked then according to the value utilization. Examples of output programs RARAVO and RAVIDI have been shown.
