Protection of joinery timber by dipping method

In this article the absorption and penetration of domestic organic solvent type preservative by dipping method on fir wood from Gorski Kotar regia have been researched. After 3 minutes dipping the lateral absorption was in average 65 g/m2, and lateral-penetration was 0,5 - 1,8 mm (tangent-radial). Longitudinal absorption was in average 720 g/m2 and longitudinal penetration was in average 9 mm.
