Influence of a state or air on durability of exhauster devices and pneumatic conveyors in woodworking industry

Abstract:
This article contains the results of researches carried out with regard to influence of hydrothermal state of air on pipes, ventilators, fans and filters in the exhauster devices and pneumatic conveyors of wood shavings, sawdust and dust. On the basis of obtained results the attention should be paid to the necessary and possible steps to be taken in preventing the harmful condensation of moisture of the air on the pipe walls. A criterion of limit parameters of the pipelines has been established and the basic relations have been shown on the diagrams. On concrete examples of calculations the application of the results of study have been shown for determining hydrothermal state along the pipeline, calling for the necessity of constructional and technical intervention. It was pointed out at the accompanying appearance of wood particles in the stream of air. The ideas for appropriate modifications of existing devices and projecting of new ones have been given. There exists a real possibility of energetic rationalization in the phase of putting in motion and in a case of partial operation of polyvalently made devices. This study presents a contribution to projecting more rational the new ones and -reconstruction of the old exhauster devices and pneumatic conveyors.
