Abstract:
The article describes the fire-retardant chemicals used for protection of wood based material, comprising also the previous experiences and attempts for protection of such material by adding chemicals. It separately describes an experiment and results obtained on fire-retardant particle boards made in laboratory. The particle board has been produced by use of phenolic resin and "silka sill" as fire-retardant chemicals.
