Researches on substitution possibilities of coniferous by deciduous wood for aerial line poles

This article describes the anatomic structure, mechanical and physical properties of certain deciduous species which are recommended for production of poles for aerial lines. Among the selected deciduous species the black locust has been suggested for plantation growing, because of its resistance, quick growth and quality of wood.
