Sanding process in production of cabinet furniture

This paper discusses the research of variability of chipboards thickness after various phases of workmanship in plants of cabinet furniture and in this respect also of the effect of thickness sanding of chipboards on lowering the thickness variability. The aim of this investigation was to find out whether it was necessary to sand chipboards to thickness and how much the variability of chipboard thickness could by thickness sanding conforrn to requirements of technological process.
