Optimal utilization of volume of wood in kombinat "Belišće"

Degree of utilization of wood, i. e. raw rnaterial and labour productivity are the most significant in the process of its transformation. This paper determined a method of their measuring, correlative and full function of dependence, forming the basis for further work on evalution of material. The utilization of wood proved unsatisfactory observed, in a reproduction cycle. Principles of optimalization and elements necessary for calculation are worked out. Criteria for appraisal of the obtained degree of utilization have been established, also a criterion of optimality. The optimal structure of assortment in existing conditions has been determined through calculation. Quantification of difference between the optional and planned structure by specially made program (method of comparison and input-output model) has been effected. By the same program the quantification of the obtained degree of utilization and productivity in one terminal unit (one day) has been effected and the possibility of its broadest application demonstrated. A new method of material control in a form a scheme of the decision process as the synthesis of the applied methods has been proposed. It has been concluded that the proposed method presents a progress in evaluation of material, but it also calls for a necessity of its further development and improvement.
