Abstract:
This paper discusses the causes, forms and methods for prevention of discoloration on logs put into storage and on finished veneer. The two methods of treating the veneer against the surface stains have been compared and suggested in what manner the stains would be removed by treating the surface of veneer by oxalic acid and how to increase a positive financial effect in production of veneer.
