This paper describes researches related to such cases of band-saws when axis of pulleys are cross-aligned for a small angle of inaccuracy instead of being aligned. A newly derived equation shows the effect of angle of cross-aligning of pulleys on maximum stresses on the band-saw blade, also the effect of this angle on wear and tear of the working surface of the pulley rim and possible breaking of saw blade ln the root of a tooth. Based on newly derived proposition a detailed process for check-up, measurement and alignment of cross-aligned axis of pulleys has been shown.
