Abstract:
In this article presented are results of investigation of moisture movement in beechwood, firwood and sprucewood protected with decorative water repellent organic solvent wood preservative. Results have shown that the speed of moisture movement below the surface of decorative preservative protected wood as about ten times greater than in wood protected with paint coating.
