Abstract:
Various kinds of penetrating finishes and film forming finishes are used in protecting wood joinery from weathering. The article deals with characteristics of various finishes and their efficiency in protecting wood of water effects and photooxidation. Some new methods in improving weather resistance of wood and finishes are discussed.
