Documentation information value in the business system

Beside the changes in the development of information and telecommunication technology (ITT) the role and structure of the archived documentation and information are also changing. Documents are no longer just bearers of information between active subjects in some business system, but they have a certain information value in the archives as well. During the research of the organizational aspects of documentation archiveing in wood processing firm the conclusion was drawn that the information value of a document is one of the most important causes of archiveing and one of the most important factors for establishing a documentation archives. Therefore the scheme for the classification of a documentation regarding its information value is shown and the suggestion for its use is established.
