Trends in furniture export and import in the Republic of Croatia from 1990 until 1999

This paper presents the trends in the furniture import and export as well as the parts of the furniture to the main partner countries in the period from 1990 until 1999. The research includes all the products classified as furniture, which are produced in CROATIA. On the basis of the mentioned data it is possible to define that the export of the furniture has been stabilized in recent years, whereas the import has considerably increased. There are various graphs in this work which show the trends of the furniture and parts of the furniture export and import in the Republic of Croatia, as well as their indexes, in order to observe the trends and importance of particular countries involved in furniture trade with our country. On the basis of the presented graphs and indexes it is possible to conclude that the proportion of import and export of furniture in the Republic of Croatia has considerably decreased lately.
