Development of forestry and wood-processing industry together with the increase of their effectiveness requires the investment of a huge amount of capital. It is not possible to expect the achievement of development objectives without suitably allocated investment means, i.e. without specific projects. The success of investment is significantly affected by risk, which has to be taken into account when investment opportunities are evaluated in order to carry out the right assessments when making investment decisions.
