This paper presents the results of measuring and estimating the percentage of wood fracture surface in testing the quality of adhesive bonds by using two methods. The first method is based on ISO 6238. The estimation was carried out by two estimators so as to show the difference in perception. The second method consists of measuring the percentage of wood fracture surface by analyzing digital photography by computer software. The results prove that there is no statistically significant difference between the measurement of the percentage of fracture surface by analyzing digital photography with computer software and the measurement made by standard process. Computer measurement is, however, more reliable and accurate.
